- Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the consolidated Spanish General Consumer and User Protection Act, when a consumer contracts with a business or professional seller;
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 regarding personal data protection;

Sales by professional sellers to consumers: the professional seller is responsible for providing the required pre-contract information, complying with statutory guarantees and, for distance contracts, honouring the 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal where applicable and subject to the exceptions established by law.
Sales between private individuals: a transaction between two private individuals is not generally governed by the consumer protection regime applicable to businesses. It is governed mainly by the agreement between the parties and the Spanish Civil Code, including liability for hidden defects where applicable.

This does not limit canarias.live's own statutory duties as a service provider or any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
